Hi! I’m Kaya, which mean “restful place”.  I am a 6 month old pup with a bunch of energy and love to share! We are unsure of what kind of breed I am…except adorable!  I LOVE human attention! I get so happy and excited to see the volunteers that I can’t help but give kisses!  I am an affectionate puppy!

I walk well on my leash.  I also know “sit” and am getting really good at sitting for meals and getting ready for PLAY TIME! E.A.R.S. has this huge grass area where I love running around with the volunteers and playing with toys.  When the volunteers are sitting on the couch, I love bringing them all my favorite toys from the toy box.  I really enjoy making a toy pile on the couch. I also enjoy following the volunteers around the paddock and often “help” pick up pinecones.

Since I am a puppy, I will need a family that has time, patients, understanding and love while I learn my manners and commands.  I would do well with a family with kids.  I will need to be the only pup in the family as I don’t do well sharing toys and treats with other dogs.  We are unsure how I would do with cats.  I am spayed and up to date on my shots.  I still need some help with the house training.   Can you show me what a family really means?
