Meet Baxter!  Baxter is a fun-loving 2-year-old Bassador (Labrador Retriever and Basset Hound mix).  Baxter is the goofball of the rescue.  No matter how you are feeling, Baxter will always put a smile on your face!  Baxter loves to run and play in the paddock.  He does well walking on leash. He is currently working on his commands and has gotten very good at “sit”.  Because of his size and energy, Baxter would do best in an active family with older kids. He will need a family that can provide him with patience, time, understanding and love while he continues to work on his manners.  At this time we are unsure how he will do with other dogs or cats.
